Hopewell Rocks

The Hopewell Rocks are on the New Brunswick side of the Bay of Funday.

These amazing rock formations are formed by the action of the waves eroding the rocks.

We were here this afternoon at low tide & will return tomorrow at 11 AM when it is high tide.

This is a close-up of the seaweed that clings to the rocks.

The bottom of this rock has a very heavy mat of seaweed.

The height of the tide is between 35 and 46 feet. The height depends on the phases of the moon. Seeing these rocks which have become this way throughout thousands of years because of the tides makes me realize all over again that our Creator put great detail into this wonderful world He created for us to enjoy.
