Finally - A Quilting Post!

The 5 inch charm square blocks were sewn by my nine year old granddaughter & I sewed the 2 1/2 strips around the edges. This quilt will go the The Agape Project, a local charity that helps needy people.

This is a new pattern - new to me - Chevron - that tried this week & liked how quickly it came together to make this quilt.

I made this quilt for a special request for a granddaughter of a friend. I love choosing the fabric & colours for a special quilt for a special little girl.

And the Days Go By

 Have been making some of the tastes of Mexico we enjoyed there. 

 Also have started back into quilting. Have many projects to work on.

 This was grandgirlie's creation for lunch one day.

 We spent a few days caring for our grandkids.

 These two gentlemen, covered in sand, invited me to sit down & they poured me a drink of sand!

 One evening when we were enjoying dinner, this decorated car pulled up & these dressed up people got out. I managed to snap a picture.

Mexican Cusine

 We enjoyed eating a various restaurants in PV & sampled a variety of Mexican dishes.
