Mr. Dwight's House

My first time seeing a Red Cardinal.
The building on the left is Mr. Dwight's house that floated onto the neighbour's property during the flood. The neighbour says he owns it now b/c it's on his property. Mr. Dwight has not been able to retrieve his belongings.
This is his new home & his old home is just a few hundred feet away. MDS volunteers have been asked not to leave Mr Dwight's property  to go & look at his his old house as backroads Tennessee justice could come flying though the air!
The house is at the mudding stage now & railings are being built around the deck. This project is an hour and a quarters drive from camp.

The Plank House

The river is right beside the house pictured below & the water was 7 feet high in the house.
The roof was removed & a second story was added to this house.

Our crew this week is from Ohio & are very hard workers.

Anieta is from Morden, MB.
