Welcome to our home. I love decorating for Christmas & I'm going to take you on a tour for the next 24 days leading up to Christmas. I'll tell you about some of our traditions & share some Christmas thoughts & readings. This is a quilted wall hanging I made several years ago & was one of the first ones I made. I got the pattern from the Country Woman magazine.

I love that wall hanging! I had made the same one and always had it hanging in my dining room or hallway come Christmas. Maybe I'll have to get the pattern from you again so I can make another one.
I think I still have the pattern somewhere. If I run across it in travels though my pattern books, I'll put it aside for you. Must be hard for you when reminders like this come up & you realize all over again what you've lost.
cool! Great idea with the 24 days of christmas Lillian. I'm looking forward to reading about your traditions. Sometimes we don't realize we are creating them until later! Nicholas was disappointed today when he came home after being away all week at school because I haven't finished decorating the house for christmas yet. He wandered around looking for the stuff that was missing! Then he wanted to know when we were going christmas tree hunting because he doesn't want to miss our family outing when we do that!
I didn't realize how important those things were to the kids!
