Today it was the day to put together the Gingerbread House. To make it easy on myself, I buy the kind that has the walls & roof already baked & just needs to be put together & also has all the candies included. So I glue the house together with the icing, that is included & already mixed & just pipe it out of the bag. The grandkids do the decorating & the taste testing.

this is the first year we have not made a gingerbread house! Testing the candy to make sure it was acceptable was always the best part! That and smashing the house on boxing day so we could eat the rest of the candy with as little gingerbread attached as possible. Cherish those memories!
