Spring!

Early this spring, Albert built this beautiful 8x10 garden for me. In it, I  have lots of room for all my gardening supplies, some Christmas decor & it also has a counter for potting plants. Will post  some pictures when I get it organized.

Bought this dahlia plant at Costco & it started with a few of these two-toned flowers. The new ones are a solid paler pink. Hopefully some plant food & sun will produce brighter colours.

Planted some tulips last fall & most of them came up & bloomed.

This is a new area for planting on the north side of our sunroom.  Put in some hostas & begonias & in the lower right of the picture, is a branch from a Pinky Winky Hydrangea. Will take some more pictures later this summer to show the growth.

In this half barrel, I planted some ornamental grass & geraniums.

In this pot, succulents.

Planted 2 clematis, one white, one deep purple, along the south side of the garden shed.  The carpenter also put shutters on the shed. Sure dresses it up!

Wichita  Juniper.

Karl Foerster grass with an Alberta Dwarf Spruce in the middle.

This Alberta Dwarf Spruce is showing lots of new growth.

Sweet Potato vine, coleus & Purple Heart vine.
I'll take some more pictures in a few weeks to record the growth.
