And So Life Continues.

This poor blog has been just totally neglected this past week and a half. Since returning home from my adventurous holiday, life has been the usual summer whirlwind of activities. Here is a short run-down of what I've been doing.
Got home the evening of July 19 after 2 weeks & 1 day away & driving 5300 Kms.
Have canned 14 pints of dilled beans & 16 pints of bread & butter pickles. Hope to do some relish this week.
Went to visit my mom at MacGregor to tell her about my trip & show pictures of family.
Was at the Morris Stampede for 3 days sitting at the Children's Camps International booth promoting the Harvest for Kids.
Went camping for 5 days to Turtle River State Park, 20 miles west of Grand Forks.
Worked on a quilt for a Christmas gift.
Have been cleaning & organizing closets & cupboards.
Had our 2 grandsons from Winnipeg here for a few days.
Took part in a few activities in the Harvest Festival this past weekend.
Tomorrow I start cooking harvest meals for Chris's tiling crew.
And so it goes.
Will try to update more frequently.

There is never a lack of things to keep one busy, but do take time to stop and enjoy your flowers :)

Lillian, you are super woman, but remember even super woman has to rest. Enjoy your busyness!
