Visting the Rockies - Part 1

Hubby & I went on a road trip to our majestic Canadian Rockies. Driving west & watching as the small hills become larger & then  the landscape changes  & suddenly, we're in the mountains.
We decided that we wanted to see more of Canada & have made an effort this summer to see more of Manitoba & we both wanted to spend some time in the Rockies.
This was taken just west of Cranbrook on a beautiful sunny morning.

Moyie Lake. The lake was so still & clear that the reflection of the mountain, the trees & clouds is just perfect.

At a rest stop.

Balfour, BC. We caught a ferry, the one above, to cross the Kootenany Lake.

At another rest stop.

At another lake where the clouds were quite low in the valley.

Small mountain stream with fall flowers & foliage.

Cedar boughs changing colour too.

Roadside wild flower.
More pictures to follow soon.

Agree with Ruth...I do enjoy the Rockies and they bring such stillness to the heart to know how majestic our God is in all the creation of the world.

Enjoyed the trip with you...
